The 4 Middletons: Our Elf on the Shelf

This year we got a very special visitor over the holidays. His name is Elfer. He is our Elf on the Shelf. Story goes that Santa sends elves to houses to watch the kids over the holidays for him because he is so busy finishing up with making all of the toys. Each day the elf spies on the kids, then at night they fly home to tell Santa how the kids were. What these elves are known for though is their mischief. They like to do silly things! They also hide or show up in a new spot each day. When we wake up we always run around having a good time finding out elf! Take a look at some of the spots we found Elfer this year!

This is Elfer with a note and a small vial of white stuff...The note told us that he had brought us snow from the North Pole! Then there was instructions on how to mix the powder to turn it into snow! We made it and had fun playing with it!

We also found Elfer camping in a tent, with a fire, roasting marshmallows on our counter!

Elfer was having a bubble bath in a tub of marshmallows too!

We found him reading a book to Wyatt's teddy bears.

Cooper was SHOCKED when he woke up to find Elfer had drawn all over his nose in black marker!

Elfer made a mess of our kitchen! He strung garland all over the place!

Silly Elf! He drank Coopers milk and then went to sleep in our refrigerator! If must feel nice to sleep in our cold fridge! We thought it reminded him of the cold North Pole.
